Louisiana Farm to School: Seeds to Success Program

The Louisiana Farm to School Program recently launched a new program called Seeds to Success, which integrates learning from the garden to the classroom. The program offers classroom growing materials, as well as engaging educational materials linked to Louisiana School Science Standards that can be used in both classroom and virtual learning. All lessons, activities, as well as practical growing information for school gardens are conveniently located on the Seeds to Success Website. Seeds to Success is a branch of the Louisiana Farm to School Program, a partnership between the Louisiana Department of Education and LSU AgCenter.

Last month, Seeds to Success distributed seed packets to over 1,500 schools across the state. Additional seed packets and other free gardening materials are available to teachers upon request. We suggest that Louisiana teachers start by creating an account at www.seedstosuccess.com to request these free gardening materials. They can also sign up via the links below:
