The Mighty Mustangs Café takes MyPlate into the realm of the abstract. Students can easily recognize the five categories of foods that make up a healthy and nutritious meal, all while enjoying the bright colors, fun shapes, and bold visuals that make the space uniquely their own. This mural reinforces the cafeteria as a place where the Mighty Mustangs come together to fuel their bodies and minds for the rest of the day.

Key design features include:

Giving the cafeteria a fun, memorable name to help the space feel more personal.
Designs that are visible outside the cafeteria and at key points along the serving line and eating areas.
A mural that incorporates MyPlate and the five food groups: fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, and grains.
